MLB, Players Union announce rules to speed up play

The league and the union announced new initiatives, including countdown clocks for breaks between innings and modifications to the instant-replay process. The league also said umpires would enforce the rule requiring all hitters to keep at least one foot in the batter’s box.
I can’t tell you how many games I’ve stopped watching due to either painfully slow play or an abundance of commercials.
