Baseball legend Ernie Banks dies at 83

Known for his sunny disposition, Banks had 512 home runs, 2,583 hits and 1,636 RBIs by the end of his career in 1971. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1977 and was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2013.
